As local parks are set to open tomorrow morning at 6 a.m., we are writing to inform you that Voorhees Township Leadership has informed GVAA’s Board that the fields and batting cages at the Rabinowitz Complex will not be open for sports activities.
Per Executive Order 133 issued by Governor Murphy, no organized or contact activities or sports will be allowed, including any type of team practices or scrimmages.
Also, the playground and the clubhouses will remain closed.
While Rabinowitz will be open for "general use" there are restrictions as described in the notice from the Voorhees Township Office of Emergency Management. You can review these restrictions below.
While we are looking forward to the return of baseball at Rabinowitz, we would appreciate your cooperation in following these restrictions in hopes that we can return to the field sooner rather than later.
When the fields reopen for play, we will be sure to let you know.
Stay safe and healthy.

We are writing to wish you well and touch base regarding the Spring baseball season. While this Spring has not been what we all expected, we hope that you have stayed healthy and found some joy in spending additional time with your immediate family. Safety and fun are always our top priorities.
Our secondary priorities are teaching and playing baseball. With that in mind, we made the investments required to prepare the facilities, organize leagues, train players and procure resources in preparation for the Spring Baseball season. Our organization is 100% run by volunteers from our community and funded by local sponsors and registration fees.
The GVAA board has been meeting virtually every two weeks as we are closely monitoring the COVID situation. We are prepared and optimistic that we will be able to run a baseball season once given the all clear from authorities. We are committed to keeping you in the know as time brings clarity to the situation.
Thank you for your patience. A heartfelt thank you to all essential workers and to our league sponsors. Please consider supporting the GVAA sponsors listed below as they help to support our league.

USABat Stamp of Approval
Cal Ripken Baseball in conjunction with USA Baseball has implemented bat rules that must be enforced at all levels in both our GVAA Rec and Travel programs.
These bats are designed to act like wood bats and they must have a USABat Stamp of Approval to be legal for play.
TEE BALL BAT RULES:
Beginning January 1, 2018, participating National Member Organizations will adopt the USABat standard for youth baseball and tee ball bats. Unlike standard youth baseball bats, tee ball bats (lengths 26” and shorter) are not required to undergo lab testing to receive approval under the USABat Program.
However, to be approved for play within the participating National Member Organizations, tee ball bats must feature the USA Baseball mark and accompanying permanent text which reads:
ONLY FOR USE WITH APPROVED TEE BALLS
