GVAA 7u Travel Team tryouts will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 11 a.m. on the AA Field at Rabinowitz.

To Be Eligible for the Tryout, 7u players must be either age or grade appropriate. 

-Players must have a birthday between May 1, 2016 -- April 30, 2017

*All players MUST also be playing in our 2024 Spring Rec Season. 

Players planning to tryout must email Travel Director, Dean Michalski @ deanmic@comcast.net  prior to the tryout date. Please include,  the Player's first and last name along with contact information,  Parent/Guardian's name, preferred email address and cell number.

7u Manager Search:
We are also looking for 7u Travel Managers.  If you are interested in leading the team this summer, please email Dean Michalski @ deanmic@comcast.net.


WHAT IS 7U TRAVEL BASEBALL?
Our 7u team  plays between 4-6 coach pitch tournaments starting in May and runs through the end of June.

-7u Travel ball is in addition to your rec team schedule.

The tournaments are local, played at neighboring leagues in South Jersey.

The games are over the weekend from Friday nights through Sunday.  Most tournaments guarantee each team a minimum of 3 games plus any playoff games.  

The cost to play 7u ranges from $250 - $350 and includes, tournaments fees, uniforms and any team equipment. 

The tournaments are all coach pitch and all the kids bat and play the field. It is a more competitive brand of baseball.

Our goal is to have two, 7u travel teams with 12 players on each roster.

We look forward to seeing the kids at the tryout.

Travel Tryouts for the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 season will be held throughout the month of August 2023 for ages 8u-13u.

 
Players that live or go to school in Gibbsboro/Voorhees/Somerdale are eligible for our Cal Ripken State Tournament Teams.

Players should attend the tryout based on their age as of 4/30/2024, unless they have already been playing travel with another age group in a previous year.

All Players Must Register Prior to the Tryout.

The GVAA Travel Season traditionally begins with Winter Workouts in January followed by spring practices & scrimmages.  The tournament season starts in April/May and runs until early July. Most tournaments are local and played at neighboring leagues in South Jersey.
Fall ball for our travel teams is optional depending on player availability.
 

All tryouts will be held at Rabinowitz--Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tryout to check-in.
